Load, process, modify, and submit parts bids
Kickdrum worked with Kaizen’s workshop employees to design and build a straightforward, easy to use workflow for loading automotive parts EDI files, automated processing, applying discounts, and sending to bid.
Manage parts organization in the workshop
To reduce the need for maintenance and overhead, Kickdrum developed a visual parts location management system using AWS managed services, including Elastic Beanstalk with Load Balancer, RDS managed databases, and AWS Amplify for scalable applications. This low-touch application enabled floor managers to better understand and manage parts for orders.
Better visibility from back office to shop floor
Deployed in a matter of months, Kaizen was able to streamline processes and improve visibility into parts management using custom-developed applications.
